Mother Accused of Killing Autistic Four-Year-old Son

Patricia Corby has been arrested, accused of killing  her autistic four-year-old son Daniel.

The neighbors say some familiar things:

Corby was a stay-at-home mom, who was learning new ways to teach her son, who had some form of autism, one neighbor said.

The neighbor added that the mother was attentive, and the boy was very quiet but loved to chase her dog.

Corby is in police custody.

Update: I changed this from the original version of this piece, which stated that Corby had drowned her son without qualification.  The investigation into the cause of death is still continuing, and I should have been said that Corby has been accused of the killing, not written as though it were a fact that she is guilty of it.  I apologize.
